The Secrets of Ashoka and his Secret Society- All you need to know

Ashoka was a great Indian emperor of Maurya dynasty who ruled from 268 Bc to 232 Bc. He was the grandson of Chandragupta Maurya who had created largest empires in ancient India and son of Bindusara and Dharma. He was born in Pataliputra (today name Patna) and died in 232 bc in Pataliputra. Ashoka expanded Chandragupta’s empire from Afghanistan in the west to Bangladesh in the east. He covers entire India except for Tamilnadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. Ashoka fought a war against Kalinga but in Kalinga war, more than 100000  men died and 150000 was injured. It was a massively destructive war. After the war, Ashoka felt guilty and he converted into Buddhism.




Ashoka Pillar and Ashoka Chakra



Ashoka is remembered for the ‘Ashoka Pillars’ and edicts, for sending Buddhist monks to Sri Lanka and Central Asia, and for establishing monuments marking in the life of Buddha. Ashoka pillar is national emblem of India and mark of Ashoka’s visit to Sarnath, the Ashoka pillar crafted out of stone is an impressive structure with four lions at the top.


Ashoka is also remembered for the ‘Ashoka Chakra’. The Ashoka Chakra have 24 spokes, is a depiction of Buddhist Dharmachakra. The chakra signifies that there is a “life in movement and death in stagnation”. The Ashoka Chakra also is known as ‘Samay chakra’ and its 24 spokes represents 24 hours of the day.

9 Unknown Men




Today time many of secret society are present in the world but a secret society also present in ancient India founded by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka around 273 BC. A writer named Talbot Mundy wrote a book named “The Nine Unknown” in 1923. In this book Mundy wrote about the secret society of Ashoka. After the kalinga war and conversion to Buddhism, he realized the meaninglessness of slaughter and embraced principles of Buddhism. 

Then Ashoka founded the secret society of nine men to preserve and develop knowledge that would be dangerous to humanity if it fell into the wrong hand. He couldn’t afford other accessing the knowledge as it would lead to world catastrophe. So he formed a secret society of nine men whose identity was unknown. 

They had a task of preserving the knowledge and guiding the future. 
Ashoka gave them nine books of nine different subject and said do continue practice and experiment on these subjects.
These books were about according to Mundy:-
1.Propaganda :  the first book dealt with techniques of propaganda and psychological warfare. “the most dangerous of all sciences is that of molding mass opinion, because it would enable anyone to govern the whole world”
2.Physiology : the second book discussed physiology and explains how to kill a person simply by touching him or her, known as the “the touch of death” simply by the reversal of a nerve impulse. It is said that the martial art is a result of leakages from this book.
3.Microbiology : the 3rd book focused on microbiology and biotechnology.
4.Alchemy : the 4th dealt with alchemy and transmutation of metals.
5.Communication : the 5th book had a study of all means of communication, terrestrial and extraterrestrial.
6.Gravity : 6th book focused on the secrets of gravitational and actual instructions on how to make the ancient vimana.
7.Cosmogony : 7th contained cosmogony and matters of the universe.
8.Light : the 8th dealt with light including the speed and how to use it as a weapon.
9.Sociology : it included rules for the evolution of societies and the means of foretelling their decline.

After Ashoka died these nine men went to different place of world and made a very strong and powerful secret society. Some people’s theory said that these nine men have watched many cultures in past years.


Some historian also belive that Ashoka was connected with aliens and from aliens he got these knowledge that’s why he wanted to protect these knowledge from wrong hand so he made a secret society.
